Specifically designed and manufactured for RV and Marine applications, RUGGEDFLEX RF-03512 (35-watt / 12-volts) delivers maximum durability and reliability in a semi-flexible, ultra-thin and frameless solar module. Originally created for military-grade use and produced with our industrial strength encapsulation process known as MONOLITHIC-CASTING. These solar modules have no lamination, no glass parts and are totally waterproof: the panel, terminals, wires, and MC4 connectors are all rated at IP-68. When properly installed on a rigid surface with a less than 30 degrees of curvature, such as the roof of an RV or deck of a boat, RUGGEDFLEX modules can deliver years of totally clean and quite power. With basic maintenance, these modules can perform well beyond the 5-years Manufacturer's Limited Warranty.
Don't settle for conventional glass solar panels with bulky metal frames and heavy racking systems. These were never intended for use on mobile equipment.
Don't be frustrated by frameless laminated solar panels claiming to be "outdoor quality". No laminated panel with an exposed edge will ever stand up to the elements 24 / 7 / 365 because adhesive sheets are not waterproof and were never intended to be left unprotected by a frame.
RUGGED solar modules are designed to be frameless, glassless, thin, light, and almost indestructible in mobile applications.
